Manufacturers are making big statements with their 2020 models. On display are innovations in size, safety, maneuverability, technology, luxury and more. You’re going to want one of these after reading this list.

Venom V-Series is an affordable 101” lightweight high-profile wide-body toy hauler. Several versatile and spacious floorplans include cargo areas from 11 to 18 feet in length, and also offer a variety of living, kitchen and sleeping spaces.
Interior standards include auto-leveling, generator prep, electric-tilt king beds (with optional queens) and residential kitchens (most with islands). Kitchens include a drop-in cooktop with glass cover and oven, 30-inch convection microwave, and solid surface countertops with deep under-mount stainless steel kitchen sink with cover.
Exterior standards include a 160-cubic-foot fully finished pass-through storage compartment with rugged diamond-plate flooring and dual-lock slam-latch doors. More standard features include standard power awning wit LED light strip, water command center and flip-up entry step with grab handle.
Options include central vacuum, a third 15,000 BTU air conditioner, Off-the-Grid solar package (which includes a 170-Watt panel, 1200-Watt inverter and interior control center), and party patio package.

A Class B van featuring an innovative rooftop extension, the Solis offers a comfortable “pop-top” sleeping area. Including a murphy bed on the lower level, the Solis can accommodate sleeping for up to four. The roof raises on hinges and gas springs allowing owners to store their outdoor gear below and sleep above.
The interior features several benefits for those wanting to get the most out of #Vanlife including dedicated workspaces for digital nomads. New for Winnebago Class B are zipped window coverings which are implemented throughout the coach to block light and provide a thermal break between the glass and interior of the van.
“The Solis offers ‘surf to slopes’ design and can fit in at the beach, the mountains and places in between,” said Russ Garfin, director, product management.
For beach goers, a rear annex curtain provides a semi-private space outside of the van to wash off sand and clean up after a day of fun in the sun. For those wanting to hit the slopes, the van offers automotive-grade insulation in the floor, walls and roof and the efficient Truma Combi Eco heating system. All water lines, water connections and the freshwater tank are all inside the heated area of the coach making the Solis a true candidate for extended-season use.

The Unity Rear Lounge is built on the 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 Cab Chassis, providing new levels of luxury, comfort, and safety previously not available in a Class-C motorhome. Advanced safety features include Active Lane Keeping Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Distance Assist Distronic, Attention Assist, and more. In addition, the Sprinter 3500 chassis is equipped with power/heated/swivel seats, and the all-new MBUX infotainment system featuring a 10.25″ touchscreen with intelligent voice control, navigation and a wireless charging port.
The highlight of the floorplan is the spacious rear lounge with a residential-like sectional sofa, Murphy bed, entertainment unit, and near floor-to-ceiling windows.

RV Care, Canada’s largest RV dealer network, in partnership with Coachmen RV, debuted the Northern Spirit XTR at the 2019 Forest River Product Expo held in Elkhart, IN. The Northern Spirit XTR features the industry-changing max bed storage system. The max bed storage system uses struts to lift the entire mattress base and mattress, making the entirety of the under-bed area accessible for interior storage. The Northern Spirit XTR also features a downsized platform that will appeal to consumers who use smaller tow vehicles.
“The overwhelming positive comments I received from our supporting dealers were very encouraging,” said Derek Paterson, VP of sales and marketing for RV Care/Northern Spirit. “They believe their customers are going to be blown away with the added storage the new max bed storage system gives them. We haven’t seen innovation like this in many, many years.”
RV Care anticipates most Northern Spirit dealers will have the first model, 2145 RBX, in stock by year’s end, with a bunk model shipping early next year. The new Northern Spirit XTR featuring Max Bed Storage will be prominently displayed at most major RV shows across Canada during the 2020 show season.

New 2020 Mantis innovations include a new pop-up roof offering panoramic 360 views and increased ventilation with six large windows, a new rear-door hatch to allow for a more open footprint and accessibility for storage of adventure equipment. With a dry weight of 2,882lbs, it is towable by most SUVS.
“We listened to the needs of our customers and fans when designing the new Mantis,” said CEO and founder Garrett Finney. “With more living space for bigger families, a more open-air design and versatile storage options for bikes and kayaks, intended to better bring the outdoors in, we can’t wait for people to get out and explore in this new model.”
Additional new features include a multi-function seating and dining system that offers space for eating, playing games or working while inside, and when removed offers a large bed (80” L x 54” W) to accommodate taller owners. Wider bunks and new imported European cushions allow for more comfortable sleeping, and the addition of attachment points for use with a hammock or rooftop tent offers added sleeping space for five or more.

The 2020 Shasta 31OK is the ultimate family travel trailer with plenty of sleeping areas, tons of storage and a large outside kitchen.
