Throughout the pandemic, many of the RV Friendly Festivals across Canada had to postpone their 2021 events… but we expect many of the festivals to return to LIVE events in 2022 – here is a list of events – please plan ahead to assure RV parking and admission availability…

One of the best parts of summertime in Canada is the sheer amount of festivals across the country. No matter what kind of music you enjoy, or how you like to spend your leisure time, there’s sure to be a festival that fits your taste. Here are a few festivals throughout our country that have camping and accommodations for your RV.

Cavendish Beach Music Festival
July 7-9, 2022 | Cavendish, P.E.I
This music festival is centrally located between Charlottetown and Summerville on the Cavendish Event Grounds. Canadian and local musicians gather here for four days of fun and excitement on the tiny island of P.E.I. There are several local campgrounds nearby associated with the festival and you can get camping packages that include the cost of admission.
Winnipeg Folk Fest
July 7-10, 2022 | Birds Hill Provincial Park, Winnipeg, MB
Great event of all ages. Enjoy the outdoors, relax, meet some friendly music-lovers and discover your next favourite artists. Family friendly and quiet campground. Additional Birds Hill Provincial Park camping.
Wild Mountain Music Festival
July 15-17, 2022 | Entrance Ranch, Hinton, AB
Two performance stages, beer gardens, food vendors, art vendors, and kids activities.
Hillside Festival
July 22-24, 2022 | Guelph, ON
The annual not-for-profit festival held in Guelph, Ontario, returns in 2022 for its 39th year. This three-day festival celebrates creativity through artistic expression, community engagement and environmental leadership. RV Camping is available in the festivals “field camping” section in Guelph Lake Conservation Area.
Stan Rogers Folk Festival
July 22-24, 2022 | Canso, NS
International festival of songwriters, showcasing Canadian and worldwide grassroots musicians in all genres. The festival has won a number of East Coast Music Awards and attracts over 10,000 music fans each year. Ample Camping.
Merritt Rockin’ River Fest
July 28-31, 2022 | Merritt Rock, BC
RV campers are at the heart of the big festival. Additional five campsites, with quiet camping, social campsites for those who like to socialize and cabins. Single-day camping available.

Manitoulin Country Fest
August 4-6, 2022 | Little Current, ON
Ample camping but no hook-up services available. All ages, kids tickets available.
Boots & Hearts Music Festival
August 4-7, 2022 | Oro-Medonte, ON
Hosted at Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro Medonte, Boots and Hearts is a weekend long country music festival featuring some of the biggest names in the scene today. RV sites are approximately 20’x50’ and 30 amp/50amp sites are available.
Fox Mountain Country Music Festival
August 5-7, 2022 | Aylesford, NS
Three days of country music in beautiful Aylesford, Nova Scotia. Fox Mountain Campground provides shuttle services to and from the festival. Hot showers and flush toilets are available on site. Free admission for children 14 and under if accompanied by a parent.

Ever After Fest
August 12-14, 2022 | Kitchener, ON
Location to be determined. This three day concert not only features new and upcoming bands and artists, but it’s a whole family experience! There’s a water park, midway rides, games, indoor playground for the kids, bowling, arcades and restaurants! There is camping available on site and off site for overflow and tickets are included in the camping price.
Fergus Scottish Festival
August 12-14, 2022 | Fergus, ON
World and National Scottish heavy events competitions, pipe band competitions, highland dancers, research tools and lectures in the Genealogy Centre, Celtic musicians and over 100 international vendors and more. This tradition is an Ontario favourite. Bring the clan and enjoy Scottish heritage at it best! Lots of camping options available.

Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival
August 18-21, 2022 | Shuswap, BC
Weekend passes available. Non-profit charitable organization heading into its 30th year. From Blues to Bluegrass, Celtic to Cuban and Americana toAfro-beat.
31st Annual Havelock Country Jamboree
August 18-21, 2022 | Havelock, ON
Canada’s largest outdoor country music and camping festival celebrates 30 years. Watch 25 performers, including Billy Currington, a mix of veteran and young up-and-coming artists from North America. Craft Beer Festival added this year.
Riverfest Elora
August 19-21, 2022 | Elora, ON
Held in Bissel Park on the banks of the Grand River in Ontario, is Riverfest Elora. This festival is the town’s celebration of music, arts and culture at its finest. Camping is available at the stunning Elora Gorge Campground so don’t forget your tube! Make sure you book your campsite. There is a free shuttle between the campground and the festival.

Big River Classic Country Festival

3 days of fun country music featuring over 10 bands and musicians performing with open mic on Friday + Saturday!
International Plowing Match & Rural Expo
September 20-24, 2022 | Walton, Huron County, ON
Join them for a week of “A Fresh Taste of Farming.” Camping is available on site and includes admission to the expo, nightly entertainment, 30 AMP serviced sites, and shuttle transportation.
