Camping Season Extended at 6 Ontario Parks in Northern Ontario

Linger around the campfire a little longer this year, as Ontario Parks has extended the fall camping season at six parks in Northwestern Ontario.

Enjoy extra starry nights at the following Ontario Parks this year:

Arrow Lake Provincial Park – now open until October 15th

Blue Lake Provincial Park – now open until September 30th

Caliper Lake Provincial Park – now open until October 15th

Sandbar Lake Provincial Park – now open until September 22nd

Silver Falls Provincial Park – now open until October 15th

Sioux Narrows Provincial Park – now open until October 15th

Parks Events: Big Canoe Tours, Monarch Migrations and more

The final long weekend of summer features many special events at Ontario Parks, including Big Canoe tours on the Mattawa River at Samuel de Champlain Provincial Park.

Later in September, numerous parks are featuring Monarch butterfly festivals and migration events.
